Moments in time are not only defined or recorded by Photos but also writing. Especially hen it comes to Diary entry's and letters. Talking about certain moments in time and events.

I love the beautiful hand writing used within the love letters below. I may develop these further to see it I could make these into some kind of print.

Through out are life's we all have monumental or special moments. These moments are usually captures in some way shape or form. I love the old uniforms the pinafores, knee high socks, shirts and jumpers. I am going to use these as inspiration for some possible design Ideas.

Time Lines

Whilst looking back at my research from the Pure Trade show one WGSN trend jumped out at me other the others. This was the timeliness trend. I feel it relates well to the images I have been researching regarding Historic Deptford and the old pictures of the Dockyard high street and children. I am going to continue with this line of research looking at more old pictures including photos from the Victorian era among others. Looking at different peoples timeliness of their life's and monumental moments that may have been recorded using a picture. These may include getting married, having a baby, first day at school or family holidays and events.
